The same thing went down with my sister baby boy. He got a real bad flu or something, and it turned into bronicitus, i can't spell it right, but the doctors wouldn't do anything for him, said the same thing , to let it run its coarse. The doctors only would give him breathing treatments, that helps for only mins.

We bought baby tylenol, and we bought baby motrion. In drops. That seemed to help alot. A humidfyer helps also, and baby vicks vapor rub....

The baby should be fine.. she will be screaming alot, and crying, cause she don't understand what shes feeling, she don't know whys she sick... she don't know whats going on, but it will pass, she will get better. It will seem like shes getting worse before she gets better. bUt believe me she will. Those doctors should help these babies, but i guess really theres nothing to do, but they should at least give antibotics... ya know? Even if it doesn't work they should try something.. instead of nothing...

If your baby seems really really bad i would call EMTs.

But other than that she will be fine.

I changed the date so no one else will see it. I just put sometime next year.

I'm so sorry that you got this type of news especially in this manner.  I grew up thinking that my Grandpa was my mom's dad.  When I was about 10 or so, I found out that my Grandma had been married earlier and that she had my mom from that marriage.  It was strange at first realizing that Grandpa and I weren't blood related and that my aunt and uncle were only my "half" aunt and uncle.  However, after meeting her biological father, I realized that I now had two Grandpas.  And since my moms biological father had remarried, I also had a new Grandmother.  As I grew up I realized that it wasn't blood relation that made a Grandfather at all.  It was him bouncing me on his knee when I was three, it was him making fun of my pigtails when I was five.  It was all the things that he did for me and all the time we spent together that made him my Grandfather.

I don't know that any of this helps, but I hope it does in some way.  I know it's a lot different finding out at an older age then I did so I don't fully know what you are going through, but I do remember very well how it felt when I first found out.
